Obituary

Kyle David Williams, 38, passed away on May 15, 2026. He was born on January 17, 1988, to Robert Shane Williams and Tracy Brown Molina.

Kyle was raised in the Alamosa area and graduated from Sangre de Cristo High School in 2006. He later attended Trinidad State Junior College, where he studied diesel mechanics. Kyle was a hardworking man who took pride in everything he did. Throughout his life, he worked as a mechanic, a shotfirer at the Cripple Creek Mine, and drove truck delivering oxygen concentrators. While working in Cripple Creek, he met Jen Bright. During their years together, Kyle lovingly helped raise her children as his own. After they separated, Kyle moved to Nebraska where he worked for Timpte Trailers and most recently for Frontier Co-op. Of all his work, he especially loved driving trucks and being on the road.

Kyle was an outdoorsman at heart and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, four-wheeling, shooting guns, and spending time with his family and friends. He will be remembered for his love of the outdoors, his hardworking nature, and the time he shared with those closest to him.

He is survived by his parents, Robert Shane Williams and Tracy Molina; his stepmother, Lori Williams; brothers Jeremy Schultz, Matthew (Brittney) Roberts, Jordon Roberts, Cody Williams, and Justin Hofschildt; sister Ashley (Breck) Guymon; grandfather Fred Williams; grandmother Lorraine Holfeltz; as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many friends.

Kyle was preceded in death by his grandmother Reva Williams; grandmother Dorothy Brown; cousin Danielle Kingsley; cousin John Schmidt; and aunt Lori Kingsley.
