La Jara resident Kristi Conserriere-Gylling, 55, died June 12, 2023 at the Pikes Peak Hospice at Penrose Hospital in Colorado Springs.

Kristi's life began in Daly City, California on October 19, 1967, born to Paul Conserriere and Kathleen Rives Conserriere. She married Walter Gylling in La Jara, Colorado on January 1, 2003.

Kristi enjoyed the mountains, especially fishing, spending time at the lake, and cutting/gathering wood. She also enjoyed the ocean and its many beaches.

Kristi loved taking pictures of her family while they were enjoying various activities. She also liked horses, farming with her husband, gardening, her flowers, and was a good cook, but above all, enjoyed spending time with her grand-babies.

Kristi is survived by her husband Walter Gylling of La Jara; her children Guy Sanchez (Nikolet) of Overland Park, Kansas, Katie (David) Creery of Alamosa, CO, and Paul Sanchez of Joplin, Missouri; her step-children Adam (Marisa) Gylling, and Megan (Tyler) Cerny, both of Alamosa; her grandchildren Peyton Esther Sanchez, Jennifer Aurora Creery, and Allison Halley Creery; her siblings Kimberly Durham of Pueblo, CO, Kip Conserriere of Phoenix, AZ, and Kelly (Brodie) Brodersen of Wisconsin; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and grandparents.
