Ketha King Woodard passed away peacefully at the age of 95 on November 17 in Pueblo Colorado. Ketha was born in Homer
Louisiana March 28, 1930. She is survived by her daughter Diane Elaine Woodard and her son George Wlilliam Woodard Jr. She was preceded in Death by her husband George William Woodard Sr. an Attorney in Alamosa Colorado.
Ketha Grew up in Homer Louisiana and later attended Randolph Macon Women's College. After graduating from College Ketha
worked in the Medical field in Austin Texas. She met her Husband George in Boulder Colorado where George was going to Law school. After George returned from the Korean War he visited Her family in Louisiana and they reconnected. They were married and briefly lived in Louisiana before moving to Alamosa to raise a family. Ketha was a Homemaker.
Ketha had many interests including Native American weaving and drawing and collage. Ketha had many friends in the SLV Art
community. She also enjoyed world traveling with her Husband and other friends. At her request cremation and no formal services.
