Jua (Nita) Pauline Dieckman, 89, passed away October 31, 2023 in Florence, Colorado.
Nita was born on November 16, 1933 in Campo, Colorado, the daughter of James Melvin Stagner and Paulda Hoeffner.
Nita was united in marriage to Louie Dieckman Jr.
She is proceeded in death by Louie Dieckman (husband), Joe and Georgia Stagner, (brother and sister-in law), Sandra Click (daughter). She is survived by James and Francis Stagner (brother and sister-in-law), Terry Bruce and Kyoko Dieckman (son and daughter-in-law, Laine and Calvin Harding (daughter and son in-law), Mark Dieckman and Donna Strickler (son and daughter-in-law), Bret and Donna Dieckman (son and daughter-in-law). Her legacy includes 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
Nita co-owned and operated the Dunes Cafe in Mosca, Colorado for 20 years. She had a very full life filled with adventure. Nita enjoyed participating in community events. She sewed, quilted, crocheted, painted in oil and watercolors, did lapidary, and leather work. She attended the First Baptist Church of Alamosa and Hooper, and Mosca United Methodist Church.
