Joy Louise Campbell, 65, of Trinidad, Colorado, passed away on September 24, 2026. She was born on June 10, 1961.

Joy was known for her selfless heart and her endless devotion to the people she loved. She gave of herself fully, often putting others before her own needs no matter what she was going through. She had a deep love for Jesus, a heart devoted to her family, and a joy for life that showed in the smallest things — a NASCAR race on Sunday, a medical drama on TV, or something fresh out of her oven. Above all, she loved taking care of the people around her.

Joy is survived by the love of her life, Ryan Mitchell; her mother, Sandi Harrison; her siblings, Jill Harrison (daughter Jazmyn) and Lonnie Harrison (children Alonzo, Sebastian, and Denari); and her children, Robert “BJ” Harrison Jr. (children Jaden and Bryce), Andre Harrison (children Asante, Miguel, and Alexis), Brandon Campbell (children Maverick, Austin, Sadie, and Kobe), and Brittani Golden (children Brinley, Dawson, and Baylee).

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Trinidad Christian Church, 17170 US Highway 350, Trinidad, CO 81082.

Joy’s life was defined by faith, family, love, and giving. Although her presence will be deeply missed, the love she gave so freely will remain in the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to have known her. Her laughter will be remembered, her kindness will be carried forward, and her memory will forever be a part of the family she loved so dearly.
