John B.
Bradshaw
May 15, 1955 – April 16, 2026
John B. Bradshaw, beloved son, father, brother, friend and grandfather, died on April 16, 2026, in his hometown of Alamosa, Colorado. He was born on May 15, 1955, and was a proud graduate of Alamosa Highschool, class of 1973.
John proudly worked various trades throughout his life. Much of his career was dedicated to the agricultural industry where he worked as a farmer and warehouse foreman. However, John's curious nature and sharp mind allowed him to learn and master many different skills and work in many different fields throughout his career. John was truly a jack of all trades.
Above many things, John was a dedicated and loyal friend. He enjoyed spending time talking to friends all over the country and was always willing to help a friend in need. You could often find John at the nearest social event; checking out cars at the Early Iron car show, listening to music in the park, or relaxing in the sun on his back porch. An enthusiastic tinkerer, John had a passion for working on cars and took great pleasure in fixing and maintaining equipment. He was always working on a creative project in his shop, which he loved to share with his friends and family. His cherished Ford Mustang was a symbol of his adventurous and free spirit. He possessed a profound appreciation for nature and often embraced the great outdoors. John enjoyed watching sports on television and found joy in sharing these moments with his family. His love for his grandchildren was boundless, and he treasured the time spent with them.
John was a devoted family man whose world revolved around his four sons, Cale (spouse Amber and daughter Elia), Sky (spouse Cali), Luke (spouse Kaitlin), and Beau (spouse Maesyn) Bradshaw, as well as his cherished grandchildren, Elizabeth, Kaedyn, Madeline, Shia, and Addisyn Bradshaw. He is also survived by his siblings, brother Bob Bradshaw (Essie), sister Beverly Scanga (Terry), and brother Mark Bradshaw (Nancy), who will carry his memories in their hearts.
Cremation was chosen and performed at the Rogers Family Mortuary Crematory in Alamosa. A gathering to celebrate John's life and legacy will be held at a later date, where family and friends will come together to remember the warmth, laughter, and love he brought into their lives.
John was preceded in death by his parents Robert Bradshaw, and Madeline Bradshaw, his siblings: Claudia Lopez, Bob Bradshaw, Jeff Bradshaw, and Terry Bradshaw.
Rogers Family Mortuary is in care of the arrangements. To leave online words of comfort, remembrances of John, or tributes for his family, please visit www.RogersFunerals.com
