Jo Anne Mitchell Eberhart was born in Denver, Colo. on February 18, 1937 to John Clifford Sr. and Jeanne (Burroughs) Mitchell. Jo Anne was raised in little mining towns across Colorado. Creede, Ouray, Leadville and Golden.

Jo Anne met and fell in love with William (Bill) Eberhart at the Grand Junction airport where she was taking flying lessons. They married in 1958. Their children are Stephen (Edythe) Eberhart, Robert Eberhart, Cheryl (Dennis) O'Dowd and Belinda (Louie) Toth.

Jo Anne was an amazing woman of character which was exemplified in the businesses that she and the family owned throughout Colorado.

Jo Anne ran the good race and she finished well. She has 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother John C. Mitchell Jr and the love of her life Bill.

She loved God, her family, reading and games. She will be terribly missed by her family and her many friends.

Her celebration of life will be March 1, 2025 at 2 p.m. at the Monument Presbyterian Church, 2018 S. Broadway, Grand Junction, CO 81507 in lieu of flowers, donations are being requested for hospice.
