Obituary

Longtime Alamosa resident J.B. "Chub" Geiser, 77, died June 3, 2022 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Denver, CO.

Chub was born in Pueblo, Colorado on September 26, 1944 the proud son of John and Mildred (Rauer) Geiser. He married "the only woman for him", Julie A. Tracy, in La Veta, Colorado on March 16, 1969.

His loves were his family, his trucks, and his motorcycles. He liked his Harley and his barley. Chub enjoyed time spent with his friends and family reminiscing about the good times, watching college football and playing poker. Chub drove millions of miles as a truck driver over his working career without an accident.

He is survived by his wife Julie Geiser of Alamosa; his sons Scott (Amanda) Geiser of Parker, CO and Tim (Yahaira) Geiser of Denver, CO; his grandchildren Cameron, Abby and Ashlyne; his siblings Jim, Joe, Jeff Geiser and their spouses; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and a host of friends.

Chub is preceded in death by his parents, his siblings Johnny, Judy, Jerry and Jack.

Cremation was chosen and a Celebration of Life gathering will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 11, 2022 at the Alamosa Elks Lodge B.P.O.E. 1297 in Alamosa.
