Gilberto Arana-Granados, residente del Centro, falleció en Chihuahua, México, el 15 de septiembre de 2025, el día de su 25.º cumpleaños.
Gilberto era muy querido por todos los que lo conocieron. Era muy respetado y tenía carisma. Amaba mucho a su familia y hacía cualquier cosa por sus hermanos y hermana. Era un chico muy amable y le encantaba hacer reír a todos. Disfrutaba viajar y explorar nuevos lugares. Amaba los deportes, especialmente el fútbol americano y el atletismo, pero su favorito era el levantamiento de pesas. Era un joven muy trabajador, al que le encantaba bailar y comer en restaurantes.
A Gilberto le encantaba estar al aire libre y andar en cuatrimotos. Amaba la comida, pasear y escuchar música a todo volumen. Siempre estaba feliz y animaba a todos a su alrededor. Desde pequeño quiso ser soldado. Finalmente pudo cumplir su sueño cuando cumplió 18 años y se unió a la Guardia Nacional, y disfrutó cada momento. Gilberto era un tipo excepcional: nunca estaba triste, siempre tenía una sonrisa en el rostro. Él y su prometida, Angela Yoleth Romero, se preparaban para comenzar una nueva etapa juntos. Conocer a Gilberto significaba amarlo, y todos lo extrañaremos profundamente.
Le sobreviven su querida madre, Sandra Granados; su padre, Gildardo Arana Chávez; sus hermanos, Roberto Arana, Osvaldo Aranaq e Ivanaa Arana; su prometida, Angela Yoleth Romero; y muchos familiares y amigos que lo adoraban.
El velorio se realizará el lunes 22 de septiembre de 2025, de 14:00 a 18:00 h, en la Funeraria Familiar Rogers de Monte Vista, seguido de una vigilia en la iglesia católica de San Francisco Jerónimo de Center a las 19:00 h. La misa funeral se celebrará el martes 23 de septiembre a las 10:00 h, también en la iglesia católica de San Francisco Jerónimo de Center. Center resident Gilberto Arana-Granados passed away in Chihuahua, Mexico on September 15, 2025 on his 25th birthday.
Gilberto was loved by everyone who met him. He was very respected and had charisma. He loved his family very much, he would do anything for his brothers and sister. Gilberto was a very loveable guy and he loved to make everyone laugh. He enjoyed traveling and exploring new places. He loved sports, especially football and track, but his favorite was weight lifting. He was a very hard-working young man, who loved to dance and eat at restaurants.
Gilberto loved being out in the wilderness and riding 4-wheelers. He loved food, cruising and listening to loud music. He was always happy and cheered everyone around him up. He wanted to be a soldier since he was a little boy. He was finally able to fulfill his wish when he turned 18 and he joined the National Guard, and he loved every moment of it. Gilberto was a rare guy in the fact that he was never sad, he always had a smile on his face. He and his fiancé Angela Yoleth Romero were getting ready to start a new chapter in life together. To know Gilberto was to love him, and he will be deeply missed by all.
He is survived by his loving mother, Sandra Granados, his father, Gildardo Arana Chavez and his siblings Roberto Arana, Osvaldo Aranaq, and Ivanaa Arana, his fiancé Angela Yoleth Romero and many extended family members and friends who adored him.
There will be a visitation on Monday, September 22, 2025 from 2p.m. to 6 p.m. at Rogers Family Mortuary in Monte Vista, followed by a Vigil at the St. Francis Jerome Catholic church in Center at 7 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, September 23rd at 10 a.m. also at the St. Francis Jerome Catholic Church in Center.
