Derrick Kyle Bohn, age 33, was called home on March 16, 2021. Derrick is survived by his older sister Lisa Chavez, of Scottsdale, AZ, his older brother Christopher Bohn, of Scottsdale, AZ; and his son Kaleb Sy Bohn of Monte Vista, CO. Extended family includes brothers: Edwin Bohn, JR; Russell Bohn; Tommy Bohn; David Bohn; Sandy Bohn and Kevin Lyons. Derrick was preceded in death by his Mother (Karen Bohn), of Del Norte, CO; and his Father Edwin Bohn, of Beaver, UT. Derrick had a presence that could be felt for miles. He especially loved being a Father. He enjoyed going for walks and talking with family members just to talk about everything and nothing all at the same time. Derrick also enjoyed watching movies and was very quick to quote movie lines at the perfect time to get a laugh out of you. He also loved listening to music and laughing about past experiences with anyone that needed a laugh. Derrick was a good listener, and was always up for any adventure, no matter what was entailed. A guy that would never let anyone feel like the odd person of the group, Derrick would always gravitate towards those who were sad and be able to lift that sadness for them. Cremation was selected and the family has chosen to forgo funeral services at this time due to recent Covid concerns.
