Delydia Joy Lyn
Naranjo
March 7, 1975 – February 21, 2026
DeLydia Joy Lynn Naranjo, 50, departed this world far too soon on February 21, 2026, in her beloved hometown of Monte Vista, Colorado. Born on March 7, 1975, in the very same town, DeLydia's journey came full circle as she passed in the warmth of familiar surroundings that she loved so deeply.
Daughter to Andritta and the late Gabriel Naranjo, DeLydia was a beacon of joy and light in her family. A devoted mother to her beloved son Noah Garcia, she embraced motherhood with all the love and passion in her heart, reaffirming daily that he was indeed her world. Her loving spirit is carried on by her fiancé, Manuel Robles of Del Norte, her dedicated mother Andritta, her caring sister Amy, brother-in-law Brandon Archuleta, adored niece Lilly and nephews Daimon Naranjo and Lindon Gallegos, her cousins Renee and Marissa Montoya and the extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins who collectively mourn her loss.
DeLydia's life was one marked by the beauty she brought into the world, not only through her 30-year career as a beautician but also through her artistry and creativity. Friends and clients alike will remember her as an artist at heart—a jack of all trades whose laughter was as infectious as it was endearing. She had been taking courses online for a few years at the Mid-America Christian University.
DeLydia's love for the mountains was matched only by her openness to new experiences and her ability to form lasting friendships with ease. DeLydia's family roots ran deep, her dedication to her parents, siblings, and extended family forming the heartwood of her existence. She honored and cherished the memory of her departed father Gabriel, her brother Isaac, her niece Chailie, and her grandparents Isaac & Nora Chacon and Louis & Lucriza Naranjo, as well as her many aunts and uncles who preceded her in passing.
DeLydia was the epitome of loving and selflessness—a passionate soul whose vivaciousness could light up the darkest room. She brought laughter, joy, and a unique sparkle to every life she touched. As an awesome little sister and a great mother, she was unfalteringly family-oriented, weaving an unbreakable bond with each family member, an embodiment of unconditional love.
A funeral service to honor and celebrate her life will be held on Monday, March 2, 2026 at 1 p.m. at Agua De Vida Baptist Church in Monte Vista. Committal will follow in the Rock Creek Cemetery.
