Deborah Ann De Priest, a lifelong resident of Alamosa, Colorado, passed away peacefully in Colorado Springs. She was born on October 26, 1960, to the late Donald S. De Priest Sr. and Patritia Atole.

Deborah was a loving and kind person who will be remembered for the smile she always seemed to have. She found joy in the simple things in life, including working on puzzles, embroidering, listening to music, and watching television. She especially loved her cats, who brought her much happiness and companionship.

Deborah is survived by her siblings, Donna (Dan Jr.) Denetchee, Dellinda De Priest, Arnella De Priest, Deanna De Priest, and Duke De Priest; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family members and friends who will cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald S. De Priest Sr. and Patritia Atole; her son, Robert Gentry Jr.; and her siblings, Delores De Priest and Donald De Priest Jr.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Rogers Family Mortuary in Alamosa.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 9, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Manassa Cemetery.

Deborah will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew and loved her. Her warm smile, kind spirit, and loving nature will remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
