Former valley resident Deborah Fae Cowen, 68, passed away on January 24, 2022. She was born on August 17, 1953 in La Jara, Colorado to Robert Lee and Nancy Ann (Claunch) Morgan. She enjoyed painting, cooking and riding horses.

She is survived by her children, Blake Cowen and Rock (Kristin) Cowen, her grandchildren, Aaden Cowen, Darrin Cowen, Sophie Cowen, Maddie Cowen, Juaquin Duran and Ashley White, her siblings, Lori Winters, Scott Morgan and Bobby Morgan as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Deborah was preceded in death by her parents.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Monday January 31, 2022 at the Rogers Family mortuary in Alamosa. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday February 1, 2022 at the Sanford Cemetery. To express condolences to the family, please visit www.rogersfunerals.com
