It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Darin Michael Sisneros, a cherished son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on May 24, 2025, at the age of 22. Born on November 4, 2002, in Alamosa, Colorado, Darin left us too soon but leaves behind a legacy of laughter, light, and boundless love.
Darin grew up in the close-knit community of Sanford, Colorado and was a man who truly knew how to live, embracing every moment with an infectious enthusiasm that brightened the lives of everyone he encountered. He was a true outdoorsman at heart. His happiest days were spent immersed in nature, whether he was patiently waiting by a tranquil lake with a fishing rod in hand, tracking through the woods on a hunting expedition, or in the thrilling chaos of a demolition derby. The roar of the engines and the crunch of metal were music to his ears, a testament to his vibrant spirit and love for life's exhilarating moments.
More than his hobbies, Darin cherished his connections with people. A genuine social butterfly, he effortlessly made friends wherever he went. His warmth, humor, and ability to make everyone feel seen and valued were among his greatest gifts. He was the kind of person who could light up any room just by walking into it, leaving a trail of smiles and good cheer in his wake, his hugs were a source of comfort, making it feel like everything would be okay. Spending time with family and friends was paramount to Darin. He treasured every gathering, every shared meal, and every quiet moment understanding that these connections were the true riches of life.
Darin's absence leaves a void that can never be filled, he will be remembered as a loving and radiant soul, whose smile was a constant reminder of the joy he found in life. His spirit will continue to shine brightly in the memories we hold dear. We will remember his one of a kind laugh, his unwavering loyalty, and the incredible way he made each of us feel loved. He taught us the importance of living fully, loving deeply, and finding joy in every moment. His legacy will live on and his memory will continue to inspire kindness and warmth in all of those who knew and loved him.
Darin's memories live on through his loving family. He was the beloved son of Victoria Sisneros, a devoted brother to Emilio (Kylie) Saiz and Samantha Saiz.
