April 17, 1955 – March 10, 2026
A healthcare professional, his work reflected his care and commitment throughout his life for nature, humans and especially his love for animals. A lover of nature, he exhibited the soul of a poet. Many remember him as a deep thinker; his unshakeable integrity. As an astute political observer for most of his life, he plumbed the depths of human spirituality and existence.
He is survived by his wife for 38 years, Lisa Cyriacks; his sister Linda English; two nephews – Scott Courson and Todd Courson, niece Christine McGinnis and two great nephews, Cole Courson and Liam Courson. He is preceded in death by his parents Rodger and Lila English.
The Wills of Life and Death
By Cole Courson
If you lose the will to live,
And if you have not died,
You will be stuck in a limbo
Not dead,
Nor alive,
Soulless by day,
And lifeless by night
You feel as dark as the void,
Where you stay in fright,
It's hards to bet out,
For it pulls you back in,
But trust me,
You don't want to stay
More than you must,
In that terrible inn.
