Corine M. Sisneros, 87, passed away on November 1, 2026. She was born on June 8, 1939, in Abiquiu, New Mexico.

Corine was a devoted homemaker who dedicated her life to caring for her family and her home. Her hobbies and interests included handcrafts such as crocheting and stitching. She had a true green thumb and especially enjoyed tending to her garden, caring for her flowers, and nurturing her many plants. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time outdoors, finding happiness in the simple things in life.

She is survived by her loving husband, Simon Sisneros; her five children, Dean (Louise) Sisneros, Eleasar (Rosalina) Sisneros, Glen (George) Sisneros, Derrick Sisneros, and Jeffery (Marla) Sisneros; two siblings, Richard (Rose) Madrid and Susie (Roman) Lopez; her grandchildren, Patrick, Shari, David, Catrina, Ezekiel, Stephanie, Edward, Anjelica, Sonja, Sophia, George, Viviana, Hailey, Ian, Lindsey, Chance, Dustin, Austin, and Rebecca; and 27 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Agrapito Madrid and Irene Suazo; her children, Joelee Sisneros, Eppie Sisneros, and Ray Sisneros; her grandchildren, Joelee Sisneros Jr. and David Sisneros; her siblings, Chris (Bonnie) Madrid and Eddie (Criselda) Madrid; and a sister of God.

A Rosary will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, at 7:00 PM at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Monte Vista, Colorado.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 11, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, followed by burial at the Monte Vista Cemetery.
