Longtime La Jara resident Constance "Connie" Sue Shaff, 82, passed away on April 9, 2023 at the Evergreen Nursing Home is Alamosa. She was born on November 29, 1940 in Kalamazoo, Michigan to William and Frances (Hill) Marquis. She truly loved spending time with her family.

Connie is survived by her husband of 66 years, James Shaff, her children, Susan Marie (John) Durham and Sally Noreen Shaff, her grandchildren, Tiffany Wunderlich, Robert Wunderlich and Kaylea Worm, seven great grandchildren as well as her sister Marjorie Warnix.

She was preceded in death by son James Clinton Shaff II , sisters Sally Tanos and Patty Bacon
