Obituary

Conrad Thomas Segura, age 75, born May 31, 1950, passed away at his home in Alamosa, Colorado. Son of Miguel and Candelaria Segura and grandson of Celestino and Juanita Segura, residents of the San Luis Valley.

Conrad will be remembered as a generous person with a kind and gentle spirit. He enjoyed nature immensely, especially target shooting, recreational fishing with his close and faithful friend, Marvin, and the love of his life, his JEEP.

At an early age, Conrad had a lifelong dream to become a member of the military and later fulfilled his dream by volunteering to join the United States Army. He served our great nation during the Vietnam war in a combat zone for a short term. Thereafter, he was transferred to a less-threatening assignment due to his status as a "sole surviving son" and proudly received an honorable discharge.

He will be greatly missed by his surviving sister, Juanita, friends and relatives, such as his cousin, Dorothy, whom he frequently visited requesting her specialty dishes which she willingly prepared for him.

We bid you rest, mercy and grace, Conrad. A graveside service will be held at the San Acacio Cemetery, San Acasio, Colorado, Thursday, February 12, 2026, 1:00 p.m. Rogers Family Mortuary is in care of arrangements.
