Longtime San Luis Valley native and porcelain artist, Catherine Lague Woods, passed away on August 4, 2023 at River Valley Nursing Home in Del Norte, Colorado.

At age 103..Catherine is survived by her oldest son Richard Gene Woods, DVM of Del Norte, CO and her only daughter Gwen Marie Frison of Austin, Texas. She has six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Preceding Catherine in death were her husband Richard Spencer Woods, DVM (Nov. 2002), son Roy Michael Woods (April 2014), and son John Lee Woods (January 2020).

Cremation was chosen and a private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
