Monte Vista resident Brooke Miranda Medina, 33, died March 22, 2022 at her home in Monte Vista. Brooke was born in Alamosa, Colorado on July 18, 1988 to John Medina and Anouk "Nikki" Cordova.

Brooke was a homemaker and loved her children, they were her life. She enjoyed watching Lifetime movies on television. She is remembered as a friendly person and a loving and caring mother.

She is survived by her parents John Medina of Monte Vista and Anouk "Nikki" (Jonathan) Ferguson of Corpus Christi, TX; her children Jaylee Torres, Ryder Torres, Neveah Medina, Alana Samora, Ava Samora, and Shyla Samora; her brother Pete Medina of Corpus Christi, TX; her grandmother Anita Cordova of Monte Vista, CO and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Brooke is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Steven and Frances Medina and her maternal grandfather Arthur Cordova.

Cremation was chosen and a Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 31, 2022 at the Rogers Family Mortuary at 404 Morris Street, in Monte Vista.
