Alamosa resident Brandon Cruz Gonzales, 21, passed away on August 31, 2023.

Brandon was born in Alamosa on December 10, 2001 to Lorrayne "Lola" Ayala and Jose Gonzales.

Brandon was an avid fisherman; he enjoyed all aspects of the outdoors. He liked to spend his time shooting, hunting and camping. Brandon enjoyed reading books and playing video games. He always had a good time riding motorcycles and listening to music.

Brandon is survived by his mother Lorrayne Ayala; His siblings Nazzreth (Nicole) DeLuna of Alamosa, Natassia Ayala of Alamosa, Iesha (Nemias) Juarez of Alamosa, Trinity (Shelby Graham) DeLuna of Alamosa; his uncle Raymond Andrew Garcia of Alamosa; his nieces and nephews Nazzaiah DeLuna, Isaac Maes, Nazzarea DeLuna, Isyss Ayala, Nazzaren DeLuna, David Lujan, Barbie Juarez, and Malachi Juarez; and Gustavo (Evelyn) Ayala.

Brandon is preceded in death by his grandma Lorrayne Garcia; his grandfather Vivian DeLuna; and his uncle Pete DeLuna.
