Betty May Paulson, 86, passed away on March 14, 2026 in La Jara, Colorado. She was born on October 13, 1939 to Clarence and Elsie Wellman-Paulson in Del Norte, Colorado.

Betty May is survived by her Niece Shawnee (Christoph) Weigt and nephew Steven Kent (Suzie) Paulson as well as numerous great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews and a few cousins.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents, here brothers Walter Paulson and William Paulson and sister Louise Carol Paulson.

Betty was a gregarious lady. If she ever met you and was told your name she would always remember it. She would often see people in the community and call them by name and they were just amazed that she remembered their name.

She spent the last 40 years at Blue Peaks group homes or apartments. In lieu of flowers please consider donating to Blue Peaks.
