Bessie Eleanor Groshart 86, passed away on Sept. 28th in Canon City. Bessie was born Sept. 23 1935 in Alamosa, Co. She is preceded in death by husband Billy Bowman Groshart. She is survived by 2 children, daughter Nikola Patricia Mohan (Trisha or Nikie) of Hugo & son Brent Joseph Groshart of Canon City, one grandson Karlin Daniel Mohan of Hugo; 4 great grandchildren, Kaylin, Tucker, LaRyah& Navy of Hugo; as well as one younger sister Elsie Buhr of Alamosa. Bessie is also survived by her beloved canary Sonny.

Bessie was the sunshine on a cloudy day. She was loved deeply & will be missed greatly.

A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 9, 2021 at the Alamosa City Cemetery.
