Pueblo resident April R. Yohn, 50, died September 18, 2023 in Alamosa.

April was born in Cottonwood, Arizona on April 3, 1973 to Eugene Yohn and Leslie Silva Casanova.

She was currently working for FedEx in Pueblo. April loved the time spent with her daughter teaching her how to cook, playing card games, and watching their favorite television series together. April was an avid softball and basketball player in her earlier years.

She is survived by her grandmother Marjorie Yohn of Alamosa; her mother and step-father Leslie and Fred Casanova of Alamosa; her daughter Sierra McKenzie Pixler of Pueblo, CO; her brothers Richard (Rhonda) Yohn of Colorado Springs, CO, and Clifford Yohn of Orlando, Florida; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family and friends.

April is preceded in death by her father Eugene, and her grandmother Bernice Slocum.

Cremation was chosen and a Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 9, 2023 at the Rogers Family Mortuary in Alamosa.
