Obituary

In Loving Memory of Alice Sanchez

With profound sadness and deep gratitude for a life so beautifully lived, we announce the passing of Alice Sanchez, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and faithful servant of God.

Alice was a devoted Catholic whose unwavering faith guided her throughout her life. She lived with compassion, generosity, and a heart full of love, always placing God and her family at the center of everything she did. Her kindness, gentle spirit, and selfless nature were a blessing to all who knew and loved her.

Alice shared an extraordinary 76 years of marriage with the love of her life, Eli Sanchez. Their marriage was a beautiful example of enduring love, faith, and commitment. We find comfort in knowing they are reunited once again in the presence of the Lord.

She was the proud and loving mother of 13 children, whose lives were forever shaped by her wisdom, strength, and unconditional love. Her remarkable legacy continues through her 33 grandchildren, 74 great-grandchildren, and 29 great-great-grandchildren. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, celebrating life's milestones, and surrounding those she loved with warmth, laughter, and encouragement.

Alice enjoyed life's simple pleasures. She loved playing bingo, taking trips to the casino, and sharing laughter with family and friends. She was especially known for making the most delicious homemade cinnamon rolls, a cherished family tradition that filled her home with warmth and brought everyone together around the table.

Alice was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Eli Sanchez; her parents, Victoriano and Annie Medina; her siblings, Helen, Ben, and Christina; her sons, Christopher Sanchez and Victor "Kiki" Sanchez; her daughter, Annie Sanchez; her grandchildren, Little Eric, Cheryl, and Mark; and her great-grandchildren, Ryan and Zack.

She is lovingly survived by her children: Jenny (Jimmy) Montoya, Marquita (Robert) Sanchez, Eric (Edna) Sanchez, Geraldine Robles, Steve (Barbara) Sanchez, Ernie (Jeannie) Sanchez, Rita (Victor) Arvizo, Jimmy (Annette) Sanchez, Angela (Joe) Montoya, and Reina (Jay) Roybal. She also leaves behind 33 grandchildren, 74 great-grandchildren, and 29 great-great-grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.

Alice's legacy is one of unwavering faith, unconditional love, kindness, generosity, and devotion to family. Though she will be deeply missed, her love lives on in every prayer, every family gathering, every warm pan of homemade cinnamon rolls, every game of bingo, and in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

As a devoted Catholic, Alice trusted in God's promise of eternal life. We take comfort in knowing she has been welcomed into His heavenly kingdom and joyfully reunited with her beloved Eli and all those who have gone before her.

"Well done, good and faithful servant." — Matthew 25:23

May perpetual light shine upon her, and may she rest in the peace of Christ forever.

Forever loved. Forever remembered. Forever in our hearts.
