Blanca resident Alta Dawn Kofman, 45, passed away at the San Luis Valley Regional Medical Center in Alamosa on August 24, 2023.

Alta was born on May 29, 1978 to Terie Kofman and Kenny La-Faif in Rochester Minnesota.

Alta loved her sons dearly! She also loved her horse and her dogs Saide and Della. She enjoyed all kinds of crafts, especially making blankets, all of her family members have handmade blankets from her. Alta liked to knit and do macrame. She also liked flowers.

Alta is survived by her mother Terie; her brother Joseph Kofman of Alamosa, CO, her sister Katherine Kofman of Colorado; her sons Glenn Billmeir and Trae Billmeir; her uncle Tom Morstad of Laramie Wyoming; her special friends Paul Torres and Lupe Suazo.

Alta was preceded in death by her father Kenny.

Cremation was chosen and a private family service will be held at a later date.
