Vivian Noel "Borrado"  DeLuna
Vivian “Borrado” Noel DeLuna, 88, was born on May 15, 1929 and went to be with the Lord on December 31, 2017.

He is survived by his 8 wonderful and loving children, 17 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 3 great great-grandchildren.

Borrado was a musician at heart and loved playing the accordion with his band. He was influential in bringing a different style of music here to the San Luis Valley all the way from Texas. He enjoyed traveling the country and was able to fulfill that by working as a semi driver for many years. Everyone knew Borrado, he enjoyed striking up conversations with anyone he met. He will be greatly missed. May he rest in peace.

A Vigil service with recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday January 5, 2018 at Rogers Family Mortuary in Alamosa. The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Alamosa. Interment will follow services in the Alamosa Cemetery.
