Manassa resident Sharon Estrella Abeyta, 74, passed away on May 26, 2021 in Pueblo. She was born on May 7, 1947 in Alamosa, Colorado to Emilio and Pauline (Montano) Abeyta. Sharon cherished her family and especially loved her grandchildren and great grand children. She never knew a stranger and left her loving imprint on the hearts of all who knew her.

Sharon is survived by her children Reina Chacon of Romeo, Erica (Ricardo) Flores of Alamosa, Laura (Tomas) Madril, Joseph Abeyta of Alamosa and Rey (Elizabeth) Abeyta of Pueblo, her grandchildren Alijah, Bryttney, Vincent, Devon, Bennie, Vernal, Emilio, Casey, Sabrina, Sarah, Manny, Blas, Alannah, Alicia, Brandee, Maximilliano, Johnathon, Gabriel and 28 great grandchildren, her siblings, Elmo (Josie) Abeyta of Pueblo West, Ray Abeyta of Pueblo, Richard (Liz) Abeyta of Colorado Springs and Pauline (Mendy Pacheco) Fajardo of Alamosa as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gramita, her son Manuel Madril and her grandchildren, Rey and Reina Abeyta.

A Rosary service will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday June 1, 2021 at the St. Theresa Catholic Church in Manassa with a funeral Mass following at 11:00 am. Interment will follow services in the Los Cerritos Cemetery in Manassa.
