The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Samuel Seger can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Samuel Jacob Seger

Samuel Jacob  Seger
James Allen Tweedy was born in Denver, Colorado on July 12, 2017. Shortly after birth he was welcomed with open arms into the family of Benjamin and Sara Seger and was lovingly given the name of Samuel Jacob Seger. He became an angel on earth, leaving his tiny footprints on everyone that met him. He brought so much joy to the Seger family and will forever be remembered. He was dedicated to the Lord at the Living Water Bible Fellowship. Sam passed away on August 23, 2017 at his home in Monte Vista under the care of hospice and surrounded by his family at the age of 1 month and 11 days old.

Sam is survived by his parents, Benjamin and Sara Seger, his sisters, Emily, Hannah and Rachel Seger all of Monte Vista, his grandparents, Gary and Jody Seger of Monte Vista, Alan and Kathleen Chestnut of Marana, Arizona and Dan and Jody Parkos of Greeley, his great grandparents, Leona Martens of Curtis, Nebraska and Harry and Barbara Hoffman of Longmont, Colorado as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and family friends.

Cremation was selected and a memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday September 2, 2017 at the Living Water Bible Fellowship in Alamosa. Contributions are suggested to Hospice Del Valle and may be made in care of the funeral home office.
