Sam, where do I begin. I met you when I was 25 years old. You drove a truck for Winco Gas. I worked at Pat's Place, the one just off I-25 and Hwy 165. You always stopped in for a bite to eat or a cup of coffee. Always had a joke to share. You had an infectious smile that brightened everybody up in the room. I am so happy you had Shirley all these years to love and comfort you with no limits on her true companionship and loyalty to you. You were her heart and soul and will remain so forever. My heart aches for her as it does for the loss of your life. May you rest in peace and know you had friends all around the state that enjoyed the laughter, the love, and the silly stories you could tell. My condolences to all the families.

Sam, I am so grateful that I got to know you, even if it was later in our lives. I enjoyed talking with you,you were respectful, quiet & funny. You were one of the kindest men I have know & you shared that with family & friends alike. I am glad you got to come up & spend some time with us & just visit. Thank you taking such good care of our 'Aunt Ginny" and sons & then later their families. You were & always will be respected for giving them the best years of your life . You will be missed by the people whose lives you have touched in a special way. Rest in peace.
