Crestone resident Robert Charles Garnett, Sr., 78, died June 1, 2022 at his home in Crestone.

Robert’s life began in Pontiac, Michigan on October 28, 1943, the proud son of Francis L. and Madeline J. (Hutchinson) Garnett.

He served in the United States Air Force for the Organizational Maintenance Squadron. He attended training in technology and owned and operated a television repair business for many years. Robert also liked cars and had a knack for working on them.

He is survived by his children Cheryl Anderson of Long Pine, CA and Robert Garnett, Jr., of Apple Valley, CA; his sister Melanie Jones; as well as numerous extended family and friends.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Richard Garnett.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at the Crestone Baptist Church. Interment will take place in the Pikes Peak National Cemetery.
