Obituary for Rebecca Jane Alyea
La Jara - Valley resident Rebecca "Becky" Jane Alyea, 57, passed away on December 12, 2015 in La Jara, Colorado.
Becky was born on January 18, 1958 in New Castle, Wyoming to Donald and Dorothy Gulley. She enjoyed Christmas time, country music, camping, her dog "Buppy" and the mountains. She especially loved her family and friends and cherished the time she got to spend with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Christina (Jon) Rowe and Brandon (Natalie) Erno, both of Mesa, Arizona, her grandchildren, Braeden Erno, Savannah Gonzales, Ryleigh Erno, Sasha Gonzales and Kylie Rowe, her fiance, Fred Velasquez, Jr., her siblings, Mike (Patti) Gulley, Donnie (Sue) Gulley, Tim (Bonnie) Gulley, Cecelia (Glen) Springfield, Randy (Patti) Gulley, Beth (Larry) Jaramillo, Paul (Barb) Gulley, Sue (Chris) Schroeder, Linda (Chuck) Williams, Nancy (Joel) Techau, Kay (Bob) Woods and Barb (Dave) Schofield as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Becky was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Kirk Alyea
Cremation was selected and a Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday December 18, 2015. A Vigil Service with recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday December 17, 2015 all at the Our Lady of The Valley Catholic Church in La Jara.
