Obituary for Phillip Edwards Hughes Jr.

South Fork resident Phillip Edwards Hughes, Jr., 48, passed away on May 14, 2021. He was born in Metaline Falls, Washington on February 22, 1973. He was very involved in the Elk Foundation and loved hunting and fishing as well as riding his Harley. One of his greatest passions in life was drilling, he loved his job and the places it would take him.

Phillip is survived by his children, Victoria Hughes, Amanda Hughes, Neveah Hughes and Bradley Hughes, his step children Lexius Stewart and Destiny Stewart, his father Phillip (Jean) Hughes, Sr. and his mother Penelope (Larry) Danser, his siblings, Jennifer Meyerhoff and Samantha (Richard) Hooper as well as his cousins Franklin Anderson and Mildred Hallam as well as numerous other extended family.

He was preceded in death by his Maternal and Paternal grandparents as well as his aunt and uncle Butch and Phyllis Anderson.

Cremation was selected and a memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday June 26, 2021 at the New Hope Church in South Fork. To express condolences, please visit www.rogersfunerals.com
