Obituary for Nicholas M. "Nick" Hale
Nicholas “Nick” Hale, 81 of Monte Vista, Colo9rado died on May 29, 2019 at the family home in Monte Vista, Colorado.
Nick was born in Springfield, Missouri on March 4, 1938 to George and Susie Hale.
He farmed in Missouri for a time then moved to California and worked for the County of Ventura in Ventura, California until he retired. In 2005 he moved to Colorado to own “a piece of Heaven” since then he has been improving his “piece of Heaven”.
He is preceded in death by his parents George and Susie Hale. Uncle and aunt, James and Mildred Pitts.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years Janet Sue Hale, a son John Lynn (Rebecca) Hale, Brother George Clark (Martha) Hale and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at St. Josephs Catholic Church on Monday June 3, 2019 at 10:00 am. A vigil service will be Sunday June 2, 2019 at 7:00 pm. Interment will be at the Monte Vista Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks to please donate to Hospice Del Valle through Rogers Family Mortuary of Monte Vista, Colorado at 404 Morris Street Monte Vista, Colorado 81144.
