Monte Vista resident Nancy Annette Plane, 57, died May 18, 2021 at the Penrose/St. Francis Hospital in Colorado Springs.
Nancy was born in Douglas, Arizona the proud daughter of James Webb and Patsy Love Thedford. She married the love of her life, Herman Plane on December 20, 1980 in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico.
Nancy was a loving wife, mother and granny. She loved spending time with her family and was sure to make time for all of her grandchildren. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially the mountains, camping, and riding four-wheelers with her husband. Nancy took pride in her work and helped all of her children in their businesses and assisted where needed. She was an active member of the 7th Day Adventist Church and was a woman of faith.
Nancy is survived by her husband Herman Plane of Monte Vista; her children Patricia (Jason) Cody, Brandon (Tammi) Plane and Katrina (Dylan) Brown, all of Alamosa; her grandchildren: Jasmine, Daisy, David, Daniel, Lilyan, Isabelle, Dalton, Violet, Victor, Augustus, Broly, Boone, Bodie, Bax, Caleb, Luke and Abigail; her brothers and sisters Tracy Webb, Floyd (Leah) Webb, Raena (Roger) Guericke, Chance (Shelly) Thedford, Jerri (Jay Dee) Allsup and Stoney Thedford; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Nancy is preceded in death by her father James, her mother Patsy, her step-father Karl Thedford and her grandson Bohan Wayne Plane.
Cremation was chosen and a Memorial Service will be held 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 313 Craft Drive, in Alamosa. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory can be made to any organization of your choice.
