Alamosa- Mildred McLachlan, passed away at the San Luis Valley Health Regional Medical Center on Wednesday, May 20, 2015. Never one to reveal her age she always said she was born on her birthday and was forever 29.
Born in Tribune, Kansas to Charles Eugene and Helen (Morgan) Wilson she moved to La Veta, Colorado where she graduated from high school.
Mildred was preceded in death by her husband Geo. McLachlan, and her three siblings; Gladys Kmetz, Harold Wilson and Lloyd Wilson.
She is survived by her daughter, Adrianne (Stephen) Nye. Her Grandson, Chandler (Shelly) Nye, Great Grand Daughter Tanner, Special niece Karen Kmetz (Felix Ortiz). Nephews; Harold (Kay) Wilson, Randall (Kathy) Wilson, and Carl Danielson.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at the La Veta Cemetery in La Veta, Colorado at 1:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent to the Valley Humane League in care of the funeral home office.
