Obituary

Alamosa, CO-

Michael Scott Kline, 58, passed away December 1, 2019 at home. Born to Alfred and Phyllis Kline on January 5, 1961, Mike was one of three Kline children. Mike enjoyed being outside. His love of the wild spread through his whole family as he took them camping, fishing and hunting. Mike served the San Luis Valley for 43 years as the Owner and Operator of Kline’s Kustom Kolors. The only thing that surpassed his love of vintage cars was his wife and two children.

Mike is survived by his mother Phyllis Kline; wife Cheryl Kline; children Kyle Kline and Nikki Kline; brother Jeff Kline and sister Debra (Rick) McKeone; grandchildren Jericko and Jaxson; along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father Alfred Kline.

Our deepest sincere condolences of your loss of a very talented, full of outdoor stories, full of car knowledge guy. I got to know Mike in last 4 years when he fix several of my vehicles, I really thought a lot of his skills and his personality, he was a great guy. I could tell how important his family was to him, by his stories he told me. Our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. I hope I have no more fender benders, because, Mike is no longer there to help me fix them, he is unreplaceable.

Very sorry to hear of your loss. Mike was very good in the shop and always had great advice on any project we had questions on. He painted a car and truck for us. The 52 Ford pickup needed special blending of color to match. It turned out great! We were just talking the other day about asking Mike to do some more work. He will be sadly missed by many. Our heartfelt condolences.
