Logan David Martinez, 32 passed away in a car accident on October 29th, 2019.

Logan was born and raised in Alamosa, CO along with his two older sisters Natalie and Megan by his parents David and Kimberly Martinez. He graduated from Alamosa High School in 2007. He attended Trinidad State Jr. College in Trinidad for two years earning certificates in welding and diesel mechanics.

Logan began his welding career in the Valley and then moved all around Colorado as an ironworker. He then earned his CDL and worked in the oil industry as a tanker driver. Logan was known for his strong work ethic.
Logan loved the outdoors and all animals and insects great and small. As a child you would often find him exploring and looking for his next “family pet”. He felt most at home when he was out in nature fishing and hunting. Logan earned his Eagle Scout Award in 2005.

In high school Logan loved competing in football, wrestling, and track. He was a proud member of the 2006 3A State Champion Football Team. He also still holds the 200 meter record at Alamosa High School. He was known for always leaving 110% out on the field or track.

Life for Logan wasn’t always easy but he always persevered with great resilience and determination. Logan loved his friends and made friends easy.
