Obituary for Linda Ruth Haston
Linda R. Haston ended her journey here on earth on February 23, 2021. She was born on May 16, 1933, the first daughter of Len and Ruth (Charlie) Willburn in Magdalena, New Mexico. She married Willie J. Haston on December 31, 1953 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. They were divorced in 1966.
She lived in Belen and Albuquerque, New Mexico before moving to Alamosa, Colorado in 1963. Linda was a dedicated and dependable office manager and bookkeeper, wherever she worked for over 60 years until her retirement. After retiring, she enjoyed her animals and farm work and over the last 30 years, spending time with her friend and partner, Lucky Mock.
Linda is survived by her son Larry Wayne (Kathy) Haston of Tres Piedras, New Mexico, her grandchildren, Kim and David Chalfant of Bernallio, New Mexico, Shane Haston of Tres Piedras, New Mexico and her sister Mary Jo Cowan of Oregon.
She was preceded in death by her father, mother and her brother George.
