Obituary for Linda Marie Dieckman

Mosca resident Linda Marie Dieckman, 51, passed away November, 3, 2014 near Mosca.
Linda was born in Alamosa on July 4, 1963, the sixth of seven children to Floyd Leo and Josephine Mary Stoeber Beiriger. She married her husband Vaughn Dieckman on May 27, 1983 in Alamosa.
Linda was a hard worker who always stayed busy. She was currently employed at the Sangre de Cristo School District and was a Pampered Chef sales representative. She enjoyed cooking and making cakes for many different occasions.
She enjoyed dancing, sports and photography. Linda had a competitive spirit and loved supporting her children in all their sporting activities. In her spare time, she liked being in the mountains and loved her family’s annual camping trips. Linda loved summertime; she enjoyed gardening, planting flowers and spending time in her yard. Linda had a very contagious laugh and smile. She was a great listener and healer to many. Above all, Linda loved spending time with her family, and enjoyed watching her grandchildren grow up. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and a best friend; she will be missed by many.
Linda is survived by her husband Vaughn Dieckman of Mosca; her children Tyler Dieckman of Mosca, Ashley Lane of Alamosa, Danielle Dieckman of Lubbock, TX and Heather Dieckman of Mosca; her grandchildren Zane Bogner, Kailyn Kalana, Bella and Bohdi Lane and Jayden Dieckman; her mother Josephine Beiriger of Alamosa; her brothers and sisters Deborah Curtis of Mosca, James (Sharon) Beiriger of Hooper, Wanda Wornick of Hooper, Dennis (Sandy) Beiriger of Hooper, Mark (Loretta) Beiriger of Hooper and Barbara (Ron) Escheman of Alamosa; her brothers and sisters-in-law: Glenda (Jerry) Tarver of Abilene, TX, Randy Dieckman of Mosca, Charla (Mark) Inness of Center, Brian (Maria) Dieckman of Weatherford, TX, and Deanna (Kenny) Koenig of Alamosa; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Linda is preceded in death by her father Floyd, her grandchildren Leslie and Jackson Lane, and her parents-in-law Eli and Janis Dieckman.
A Recitation of the Rosary will be held 7:00 p.m. Sunday, November 9, 2014 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Alamosa. A Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 10th also at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Alamosa. Committal services will follow the Funeral Mass in the Speiser Cemetery in Hooper. Contributions are suggested to the Mosca-Hooper Volunteer Fire Department.
