Antonito resident Leonard Jimmy Lujan, 69, passed away on February 15, 2022. He was born on February 7, 1953 in Lobatos, Colorado to Jose Thomas and Aurelia Helen (Flores) Lujan. Leonard enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with friends and family in the mountains of southern Colorado.

Leonard is survived by his siblings, Harold Lujan of Antonito, Sylvia Lujan of Antonito, Eileen Lujan of Alamosa, Cecila Lujan of Antonito, Delano Lujan (Sandy Medina) of Canon City and Dolores (Alex) Lujan-Gonzales of Colorado Springs, Susan (Tarek) Barzak of Fort Collins and Jackie Villareal of Antonito as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his nephew Don Ray Vigil as well as his nieces, Beverly Barela and Jessica Ortiz.

A visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday February 24, 2022 at the Rogers Family Mortuary in Manassa with a recitation of the Rosary beginning at 7:00 pm.
