Obituary for Scott Sowards
Lifetime Manassa resident, L. Scott Sowards, passed away Sunday December 22, 2019 peacefully at his home at the Bridge. He was born on January 15, 1962 to Larry and Sharon Sowards. Scott spent his entire adult life as a postal worker for the United States Postal Service. In his free time he loved to travel and take photographs of the places he went.
Scott is survived by his mother Sharon; siblings Debra (Keith) Sowards Cerny of Alamosa, Bryan (Terese) Sowards of Alamosa, Lori Sowards of Pleasant Grove, Utah, and Kirk Sowards of Manassa; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Scott was proceeded in death by his father Larry.
Services will be held at the New Manassa Cemetery on Saturday December 28, 2019 at 12 pm.
