Obituary for Kevin Anthony Brown
Kevin Anthony Brown, 63 years old of Mosca, CO, passed away on February 1, 2020 after a
short, yet valiant battle with lung cancer. Throughout his life he had more hobbies and interests
that one should ever list in an obituary, and when asked what was most important to be said
after he passed, he only wanted people to know about Jesus. His hope is that everyone would
have the opportunity to know Jesus’ love for them and the sacrifice He made for their freedom
and redemption. The love he operated out of was not his own, but the overflow of the Love the
Lord had for him. It is what fueled his desire to treat everyone with love, kindness and respect,
and what made him standout from the crowd. He is survived by his wife Renee Brown, Mother
Betty Brown, 3 siblings, 5 children, numerous grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He is
proceeded in death by his father Carl Brown and his wife of 23 years, Mary Magnuson Brown.
There will be a memorial service in Alamosa, Colorado on Thursday, February 6th from 1-4pm at The
Barn at La Manzanilla 6491 Hwy 17 Alamosa, CO 81101. There will be another memorial
service in Greeley, Colorado on Saturday, February 8th from 2-5pm at The State Armory Event
