Obituary for John Albert Valdez
Fourth generation San Luis Valley resident and co-owner and founder of J2C Auto Repair, John Albert Valdez passed away at the age of 90 on July 18, 2020 at the San Luis Valley Regional Medical Center in Alamosa.
John enjoyed helping people and was a very generous and caring person.
He is survived by his children Gerri (Vito) Trujillo of Lakewood, CO, John (JoAnne) Valdez of Monte Vista, CO and Don (Jo) Valdez of Monte Vista; as well as a brother Alex Valdez and sisters Beatrice Mansanarez, Eleanor (Ben) Vigil and Margie (Paul) Martinez; 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
John is preceded in death by his parents Ben and Rosa Valdez, his infant son Paul Anthony Valdez and grandson Chris Trujillo.
As to his wishes a cremation and private graveside service will be held at the 7 Mile Plaza Cemetery at a later date.
