Joaquin “Jack” Cantu, 63, passed away at his home in Alamosa, CO on Tuesday February 4th, 2020. He was a beloved member of the community and will be missed dearly. He was born on the 27th of October in 1956 to Joaquin Sr. and Esther. He married his best friend Diane, who was the love of his life. Together they had a daughter, Angelina.

Joaquin was proceeded in death by his wife Diane; brother Roger Cantu; and a sister Irene Cantu.
He is survived by his daughter Angelina (Michael) Nincehelser; grandchildren R.J., Brooklyn, and Mikaela; the children he considered his own Adonias and Solé Cantu; his parents Joaquin Sr. and Esther; siblings Pablo (Jill) Cantu, Ruth (Jeff) Aragon, Rachel Cantu, Nathan Cantu, Connie Cantu, Lupe (Dave) Lujan, Liz ( AL ) Montoya; along with numerous other nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

The family has chosen cremation and will have a Celebration of Life at the Living Water Christian Fellowship in Alamosa, Colorado on February 21st, 2020 at 3 PM with a reception to follow at the church.
