Jesús Valdez, de 67 años y residente de Alamosa, Colorado, falleció el 25 de marzo de 2021 en Penrose St. Francis en Colorado Springs, Colorado. Nació el 19 de octubre de 1953 en Nochistlan, Zacatecas en México de Elijio y Basilia Valdez.
Fue amado y admirado no solo por su familia, sino por todos aquellos que lo conocieron y llegaron a conocerlo. Era un hombre muy trabajador, un gran proveedor y siempre se aseguraba de que su familia tuviera todo lo que necesitaban. En los lugares donde trabajó se ganó su respeto a través de su gran ética de trabajo, responsabilidad, amabilidad y carisma.
Disfrutaba de la vida, amaba las celebraciones, tenía un gran sentido del humor y hacía que cualquier reunión fuera mucho más divertida. Le encantaba cantar y bailar, sobre todo si había un buen mariachi. Le gustaba tomarse un trago de tequila, "de los buenos" con sus amigos. Le encantaba el pozole de su esposa y ninguna comida estaba completa sin un jalapeño picante.
Le gustaba viajar a México y California para disfrutar del tiempo con su familia y amigos. También valoraba mucho su salud. Todas las mañanas comenzaba con su batido nutricional diseñado personalmente. Le encantaba la fruta y siempre escogía la más dulce y la mejor. También fue a dar paseos nocturnos con su esposa.
A Jesús le sobrevive su esposa Rosalinda Valdez; hija Helianta Negrini; nieto Giovanni Negrini; 4 hermanos y 8 hermanas; numerosos sobrinos y sobrinas.
Le anteceden en la muerte sus padres Elijio y Basilia Valdez, la hermana Lupita y los tíos José, Benjamín y Jesús López.
Jesús siempre será recordado como un perfecto caballero. Él es incomparable, será extrañado por siempre y por siempre en nuestros corazones.
Jesus Valdez, 67 years old and a resident of Alamosa, Colorado passed away March 25th, 2021 at Penrose St. Francis in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was born October 19th, 1953 in Nochistlan, Zacatecas in Mexico to Elijio and Basilia Valdez.
He was loved and admired not only by his family, but by all those that knew him and got to know him. He was a very hard working man, a great provider and always made sure that his family had everything they needed. In places where he worked he earned his respect through his great work ethic, responsibility, friendliness and charisma.
He enjoyed life, loved celebrations, had a great sense of humor and made any gathering that much more fun. He loved to sing and dance, especially if there was a good Mariachi. He liked to have a drink of tequila, "the good kind" with his friends. He loved his wife's pozole and no meal was complete without a spicy jalapeño.
He liked to travel to Mexico and California to enjoy time with his family and friends. He also really valued his health. Every morning he started off with his personally designed nutritional shake. He loved fruit and always picked the sweetest, best kind. He also went for evening walks with his wife.
Jesus is survived by his wife Rosalinda Valdez,:daughter Helianta Negrini; grandson Giovanni Negrini; 4 brothers and 8 sisters; numerous nephews and nieces.
He is preceded in death by his parents Elijio and Basilia Valdez, sister Lupita and uncles Jose, Benjamin and Jesus Lopez.
Jesus will always be remembered as a perfect gentleman. He is incomparable, will be forever missed and forever in our hearts.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday April 7, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Rogers Family Mortuary in Alamosa. A Rosary will be held Thursday morning at 9:30 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Alamosa with the Funeral Mass beginning at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in the Alamosa Cemetery.
