Obituary for Jenine Lynn Manesiotis (Ring)

Long-time San Luis Valley resident, Jenine Manesiotis, 61, passed away at her home in Mosca on February 17, 2024.

Jenine was born September 18, 1962, in Lincoln, Nebraska to Joan Ring (Hancock) & Donald Ring Sr. Jenine attended grade school & middle school in Lincoln, then moved to Ankeny IA. After graduation, Jenine attended Community College where she obtained a degree in Electronics Engineering with emphasis in Computer Electronics.

Apart from a technical background in building computers, Jenine had extensive Corporate Management experience with specialties including HR, Staff development programs, Job Readiness, and Retention Development & Training.

Jenine's life culminated in building WSB Computer Services Inc. (WSBCS) and WSBCS E-Recycling with her business and life partner, John.

Jenine was a warm, gentle & quiet spirit, kind and accepting of everyone. She adored her family, friends, employees, easily blurring the line between the three. If a relative or friend mentioned needing help, or something else in passing, Jenine would joyfully surprise them with her generosity.

Jenine was the proud and delightfully spoiling owner of many pets, with a special affinity for her Chihuahua, Carlos, her Husky, Irma, and her Yorky, Peanut but with plenty of room in her heart for cats Pepe, Oki, and many others.

Apart from her love of animals, Jenine liked to travel and keep in touch with family, garden, cook, remodel, bowl, and listen to music with a preference for the group Earth, Wind, and Fire, and 60s and 70s rock. She delighted in gift baskets and making candy for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Her Cherry Mash was legendary.

She battled chronic debilitating pain, cancer and all that entails, with grace.

She is survived by her husband John, brother Don, many aunts, uncles, and will always be “Aunt Neener” to nephews, nieces, and young cousins.

Cremation was selected and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Contributions are suggested to local animal shelters and may be made in care of the funeral home office. To express condolences, please visit www.RogersFunerals.com.
