James (Jim) Richard Dunn of Center, Colorado passed away on February 7, 2021 after complications from heart surgery. Jim was preceded in death by his father Richard James Dunn of Lansing, Michigan, his daughter Jardena Dunn Martinez and his two grandsons Chase and Jameson Martinez of Alamosa, Colorado. Jim is survived by his son Joshua Michael Dunn of Denver Colorado; his mother Marjorie Koebel Dunn of Lansing, Michigan; two sisters Janet (Paul) Edwards of Callahan, Florida, and Jane Dunn Gordon of Lansing, Michigan; and one brother Joe (Lora) Dunn of Lawrenceville, Georgia.

Jim grew up in Michigan and learned to love the out of doors from his father. Jim moved to The Valley in 1983 with his family. For the past twelve years Jim worked on a farm in Center, Colorado owned by Roger Mix. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Jim will be missed by all those who loved him.

Cremation was chosen and private family services will be held at a later date.
