The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of James Beckley, Jr. can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: Mr. Beckley was my principal at La Jara High School and then moved to Centauri High School as principal when our new school was built. So many high school memories go back to Mr. Beckley and his kind, caring ways. Condolences to the family.

Condolence: Jim Beckley was my first principal as a new teacher, he hired me and mentored me through a year of substitute teaching and 3 years at Evans where I taught fifth grade. He was my rock during some tough years (personal and professional) and he left a lasting impression on me as a person and as an educator. A very special man in so many ways. Prayers for his family.

Condolence: Mr. Beckley was such a good man. We have known him many years since he was our principal in Alamosa. Reconnecting with him when he moved to South Fork was wonderful. It was always fun to reminisce about school days. We will miss him as many others will. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.
