Jim Beckley was my first principal as a new teacher, he hired me and mentored me through a year of substitute teaching and 3 years at Evans where I taught fifth grade. He was my rock during some tough years (personal and professional) and he left a lasting impression on me as a person and as an educator. A very special man in so many ways. Prayers for his family.
